Palmer Planter Co. is a team of two artists, Naomi Cleary Daniel Ricardo Teran. Most of the time we are working together on our small batch house terracotta to supply garden shops and home boutiques. This week however, we bring you a selection of one-of-a-kind, totally original pieces of art made by Daniel Ricardo Teran.

Sizes on the beautiful pots range from 1.75”" up to 10", mostly are rich, red, hand burnished terracotta. A few have white or blue touches. Don't miss your chance to pick out a few of these unique pieces of art.

Biography: Daniel Ricardo Teran graduated form the Kansas City Art Institute in 2007. While a student he was studio assistant for the Ceramic artist Victor Babu, and the Painter Ron Slowinsky. Teran has exhibited his work nationally and has work numerous private collections and museums, including the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Kamm Teapot Foundation. As a passionate and dedicated teacher, Daniel has taught at various art centers and institutions across the country. He has been a Resident Artist at Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts in Newcastle, ME, The Armory Art Center in West Palm Beach, FL, Pottery Northwest in Seattle, WA, and The Clay Studio in Philadelphia, PA. In 2017 Daniel and his Partner Naomi Cleary, after spending many years teaching, giving workshops, and selling their own hand made pottery, combined their creative forces into one single business, Palmer Planter Company. In 2020 Daniel and Naomi sold their home in Philadelphia and moved their family and business to Daniel’s hometown of Dallas, TX.
